Money and sport pretty much go hand in hand these days and on the Internet things are no different. Media corporation has just bought the domain name sport.co.uk through sedo and has plans to turn it into a comprehensive sports website. Sounds good to me (being a follower of football, tennis, snooker and squash) and at only £135,000 (i say only that’s a lot of money) but for the amount of potential traffic seems like a bargain to me.
In contrast casino.co.uk was sold for a whopping £3.625 million pounds which just tells you something about online gambling.
Some of you may have read about the auction for what was essentially an “S” see cruises and cruise well in this case i think that if i had £135,000 sport.co.uk seems like a great investment.
