Perhaps i was wrong to be skeptical about the new domain name but its still early, ask me after March 13th (one day after start of “live” period).

.DotAsia the registry operator of the new domain name claimed the launch of .Asia to be a success. Over 35% of the applications came from Asia, 40% from North America and 24% from Europe meaning that there was worldwide appeal for the domain name.
